this site runs no analytics and no trackers of any kind. it stores the bare minimum on your device, and it is all first-party:

• theme · cookie · 1 year

  remembers your light/dark choice from the switch on the home page. strictly necessary (without it the site defaults to dark mode).

• consent · cookie · 6 months

  records that you dismissed the cookie notice, so it stays out of the way.

• weather cache · sessionStorage · the tab session

  the weather widget keeps its last Open-Meteo response for a few minutes so it does not re-ask on every visit. never leaves your device.

two more things worth knowing: if you log into the photo admin, a standard HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in while you use it; and the weather and now-playing widgets fetch data from Open-Meteo and Spotify's image CDN. Those requests go straight from your browser to them, and this site never sees or stores the traffic.
